For February, I am showing a single block made from scraps of my dad’s ties. This one has two scraps of his blue ties and one scrap of a white tie. I planned to make other varieties using the tie scraps, but I realized they would not be durable for a quilt. This one should be framed and enjoyed instead of mouldering in my fabric stash, as he is quite a dapper fellow. If I still have the directions for the cardinal block, I could have a set, as I have enough red tie scraps left to make at least one block.
